To harvest these magnificent pearls our divers bring the whole shell up at the end of it’s life and produce the beads using the mother of pearl.

These are identical have the same chemical substance as traditional South Sea (Saltwater) Pearls (having the same organic substance as the mollusc, calcium carbonate produced by the Pinctada Maxima, the white South Sea Pearl or the Pinctada Margaritafera, the black-lipped oyster which produces the Tahitian Black Pearl).
